Help us help our local Rural Volunteer Fire Departments! The FCDRF is hoping to use some of the funds donated to help the rural volunteer fire departments who responded to the catastrophic fires last year.
We would love to allow them to recoup costs from equipment and gear damaged during the fires and help them be better prepared with personal protective equipment. As a result of our small departments being the first to respond and the last called off the lines, a lot of resources were exhausted and departments are struggling to get their response vehicles back to working order and many don’t have enough personal equipment to cover all their fire fighters.
We all realize that without our volunteers responding, last year’s fire season could have been a lot worse. If you would like to help us do that, please donate here.
We’re here to meet those needs. If you have been affected by the 2021 fires in Fergus County, submit an application for either short-term or long-term (6 months or longer) assistance here. If you have both short-term and long-term needs, please fill out both applications.
